Let’s go straight to the heart of the matter: the uploads. This is where the site falls down. There have only been 28 updates in two and a half years, the most recent being in April 2009. So, not much content and not much hope of anything new any time soon perhaps. But there is more content in your extras and bonuses and this is plentiful, so perhaps it’s best to look upon Guys With Toys as a way in to a varied collection, rather than as a regularly updates toy-play specialist site.

But what you do have in that genre is good. There are long hardcore scenes, some discussion about toys, and some toy sex during the scenes. You should download a movie, maybe while you stream another, and then you will be able to enjoy the well made, and good quality sessions at your leisure, finding the toy-play parts as you go.

You have good viewing options with WMV (at 1400kb/s, 480x360) and Flash streaming (at 352x288) in use, plus iPod files and sometimes AVI ones in the network. The transfer rate for downloads was at 80kbps and with even lower quality files being 200Mbps plus, this is a good speed. Each scene comes with a set of screen caps, unlike other sites in your list which have galleries too, but there was at least one with higher quality digital stills. And actually the screen caps are a fair size and easy to view.

As you browse through the site you will, or at least should be, impressed with the extra features: you can add comments, rate content, add things to your favourites area, there are cross-referenced model links that take you to the guys’ entrances in the model index for more info and links. The site is easy to move around and clearly laid out so you won’t have any problems finding your way around. In fact the whole network runs on the same lines so when you go of to explore other sites you are still going to find an easy to use set up.

And talking of other sites: when you look in the left menu you will see numbers: 14,274 models for example. But these numbers refer to the whole network, So although you have 65 bonus sites listed in the network, only three of them are gay-male. Similarly there is only one gay DVD in the list of 5,125, but many more scenes and galleries in the other two areas of extra content. I did find that once I went into a bonus site, Bareback Beginners in this case, I was stuck in it and even using my back button didn’t take me back to Guys With Toys, which wasn’t in the networked sites list. That was all a bit odd. Maybe bookmark your home page once you’re there so you don't get lost as I did. Apart from that though, I had no trouble with the site at all.
