General impression: It looks like Funny Tranny is a fine destination for tranny lovers. In the case of FunnyTrany.com most of the shemales look like women who have the blessed fortune of a cock to go with their feminine features.

Bravo's opinion:  After you enter your username and password you'll be taken to the Funny Tranny member's area, which consists of one page that features links to all 35 video download pages. For each video you get a small preview picture, a descriptive title, and the date on which it was added. That's basically it for the entire site. It's incredibly simple but it's lacking a lot of the doodads and features that come with other $30/month sites. You have to hope that the content stands up to make it worth your investment.

A tranny site is only as good as the tranny models that fill its pages. In the case of Funny Tranny they've done a pretty good job of securing good looking chicks with dicks. A few of them look like guys who got a boob job and shaved their body hair but most of them appear to be genuine females who just so happen to have a cock between their legs. I was genuinely impressed my first time through the member's area.

Speaking of good looking shemales, Funny Tranny happens to have a two part video featuring the best looking shemale I've ever seen. Funny Tranny was launched on January 19th, 2007 and because of that there are only 35 videos for download. It's even less than that when you consider that they often split videos that are too long. In this case too long means longer than 12 minutes, which is an arbitrary and silly number. The practice of splitting makes it feel like they're padding the member's area to make it seem larger than it actually is and it's annoying. There's absolutely no need for it. They've been diligent about the updates though; a new video is added every four days. They even include previews of upcoming videos and the date on which they'll be added so you'll always know when to login for more tranny goodness.

All of the Funny Tranny videos are available to you in three resolutions of increasing size. There's 320x240, 480x360, and 512x384. Why they didn't just upgrade to 640x480 is a reasonable question, and one that I don't have an answer for. The site would be markedly better if that were the case, especially since the 512x384 .wmv files I downloaded looked kind of fuzzy. Thankfully they offer an .mpeg version of the highest resolution file. It looks better than any of the .wmv clips, although it will take longer to download because of its increased size. The average .mpeg file is nearly 100MB larger than the biggest .wmv.

I wish they had provided more information on the videos themselves. When you visit the download page for each clip all you get is a short description and the same preview picture that appeared on the main page. A set of 10-20 pictures that show the main highlights of the scene would have been great so member's could know if they actually wanted to download the clip or not. As it is you'll occasionally download something you have no interest in watching, especially if you're hunting for a particular setup (i.e. a guy fucking a tranny or vice versa).

Nowadays any good porn sites offers bonus content to its members and Funny Tranny is no slouch in this department. Despite the relative simplicity of the site's setup they offer you 10 bonus sites for free with your membership. Each site is designed in the exact same way and will offer you no difficulties in finding content.
